Welcome to Tracie’s
Pugs web site. I live here in Des Moines,
Washington where my parents raised me in this exact house I now live in. While growing
up here my parents loved Pekinese and Pugs and when our last Pekinese died my parents bought there first pug and as you know
it is like eating a bag of potato chips. They never stopped coming. The two pugs
I remember most is “DEE “O” GEE”, my parents fawn stud and “PUDGY”, the female. The confusing part of this is every pug my parents went through they named the same name. So we had Dee “o” Gee 1, 2, 3 and so on. So, the last Dee “O” Gee and Pudgy delivered
my first pug to own. And that is where my story begins.
My fawn pug at
that time was the runt and my mom had to give him mouth to snout and tube feed him.
He survived and he was mine. He was born in 1988 and I named him PeeWee
Herman Fugly Hay, he was my first AKC registered pug. I neutered him right away.
Getting your dog neutered makes the pug healthier and not stray from home.
PeeWee Herman
at the age of 5 was stolen out of my fenced yard. He was not micro chipped. He was taken in January and I found him in April at an Easter egg Hunt near my house.
He came running right up to me when he saw me. Microchip your dog it could save
a lot of heart ache.
In the year of
2000 I was divorced and bought my fathers house in Des Moines. My girls & PeeWee Herman and I thought it would
be nice to add more pugs. So now is when I thought I can breed pugs just like
my parents did right here in Des Moines. My faithful stud is Black and his name is Chop Souie
Louie of Des Moines. I now only own one fawn female I am showing named Egg Fu LuLu.
So I won't be breeding again until like 2009. My pugs are all raised in the house with me. We all sleep together including
my red/white husky (Koda). We spend many of hours at the off leash dog park where
Koda can run and the pugs can chase him. If you are ever near Des Moines, WA feel free to stop by we love
visitors. We love to show off and sit on laps and lick you to death.
